Sumana is a facilitator whose life and work are deeply rooted in the transformative power of love, guided by the poetic wisdom of Rumi that “Love is the water of life. Drink it down with heart and soul. Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” Born in India, she was introduced to the spiritual and philosophical teachings of “Aham Brahmasmi” (I am the Universe) by her grandfather, her first guru, setting the foundation for a lifetime dedicated to self-love, yoga, and meditation from the young age of five. These practices, ingrained as daily rituals, were not only about nurturing the soul but also served as a bridge to understanding herself through the Vedas and her religion.
Sumana’s journey spans various roles—as a teacher, media professional, marketer, social worker, artist, and interior designer—each step shaping her into the person she is today. Having moved to the USA 18 years ago and embraced it as her new home, she continues to share her belief that love is the universe’s most potent force, capable of healing and liberation. Sumana’s teachings emphasize that the journey to find this all-encompassing love begins within, inviting others to embark on this path of self-discovery and transformation.
